Steel Analyst - Manufacturing Firm

Technical competencies for the role :

1. Extensive Knowledge about steel industry raw materials (Iron Ore, Ferro Alloys, Fluxes, Refractories, Pig iron, Sponge iron etc.,), Process, finished goods (Billets, TMT etc.), prevailing price trends in the market, good ERP Knowledge.

2. Analyze, forecast, monitor and present & guide the stakeholders including top management for the various steel input (RM) and output product pricing (FG).

3. Good Communication Skill with Multi linguistic ability & Trouble Shooting Skills

4. Advise for finalization of Long-Term Contracts & Short term Contracts based on the trend with various analytical models with scientific approach, Spot Analysis, Future analysis/predictive analysis etc.,

5. Knowledge about various analytical tools, Supply, price forecasting models, databases, methodology, statistical models, business intelligence etc., & idea about costing techniques

6. Good Computer literacy with Hands on knowledge on MS office, Word, Excel and PPT, presentation skills

7. Hands on knowledge about the various steel industry subscriptions and usage of the same.

8. Good exposure with Domestic, Import and Export knowledge & trends about Steel Industry.

Experience :

1. 8 to 10 Years of Experience preferably Steel Industry.

2. Added Advantage: Having exposure to Import and Export

Qualification :

1. Any Graduate/Post Graduate with real time experience as an steel industry analyst.

2. Preferably with statistics back ground & excellent skill and knowledge in various forecasting tools.
