Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:
- Proactively generate qualified leads for new business development opportunities in the commercial real estate market.
- Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with industry associations and organizations to build new alliances.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their specific needs.
- Implement targeted outreach strategies (email, phone calls, networking events) to connect with high-value clients.
Proposal Development & Closing Deals:
- Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that effectively showcase your company's expertise and value proposition.
- Negotiate and close contracts with new clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Achieve and potentially exceed assigned revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new clients, fostering long-term partnerships.
Business Acumen & Strategic Thinking:
- Possess a deep understanding of the commercial real estate market dynamics, trends, and competitor landscape.
- Analyze market data and customer insights to identify and prioritize new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies aligned with company goals.
Teamwork & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams (marketing, sales, project management) to ensure successful project execution.
- Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to engage with clients, build rapport, and present complex information concisely.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, sharing industry knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in sales or pre-sales, with at least 2-3 years focused on business development within the commercial real estate industry (architectural firms, real estate firms serving commercial clients).
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business development goals.
- Strong understanding of commercial real estate market dynamics, key players, and current trends.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
