Statistical Modeler

Overview of the position:

- Covacsis is in the business of providing solution to manufacturing organizations helping them improve their production economics.

- This position is required for designing and developing statistical & mathematical models which becomes the framework for building various reports and analytics.

Responsibilities:

- Extract, clean and prepare data for research projects

- Identify research data attributes and determine approach to solve analytical problems as per the goal defined

- Apply various methods like trend analysis, forecasting; Build the hypothesis as part of prototyping the model
Design and develop final mathematical & statistical models;

Qualification & Competencies:

- M. Sc. in Statistics;

- Worked on statistical software preferably R;

- Working knowledge of MS- Excel;

- Good knowledge of at least one programming language C/ C++/C#;

- Possess strong analytical abilities
