Investment Strategy & Research team in Bangalore comes under the broader umbrella of Portfolio Strategy & Research. It started its operations in India in March 2016 and now has nearly 70 strong investment professionals focusing on various asset classes and investment functions. The team maintains its presence globally including Boston, London, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, Ireland and India. The role offered will be based out of Bangalore, India office.

Role : Senior Associate - SSGA Investment Strategy & Research, Bangalore
Responsibilities :
- Perform strategic asset allocation, investment analysis, and deep dive portfolio analytics for client portfolios.
- Generate actionable insights for the client portfolios on the back of solid quantitative research.
- Collaborate with global IS&R teams and generate quality research in the form of white papers and brief write-ups to enrich client interaction.
- Develop and enhance marketing collateral to support and further client interaction.
Qualifications :
- 4-10 years of professional experience in the core investment management is required. Candidates having experience in the Fixed Income/Multi-Asset portfolio management/research will be preferred. (Yes/No)
- Advanced degree in Finance/Economics/Math/progress towards CFA is mandatory. CFA designation a plus. (yes/No)
- Strong quantitative modeling and analytical skills are required. Good to have programming skills in either of Python/R. (yes/No)
- Basic familiarity with financial software is required (FactSet/Bloomberg). Experience with Axioma and Barra is desired. (Yes/No)
