For more information log on to www.ssga.com   The purpose of this role is to provide leadership, strategic planning, and oversight of the Enterprise Business Services (EBS) shared services operations functions executed out of the State Street India offices. The activities performed in the shared services center will cover the functions of :  - Procurement Operations  - Sourcing RFx Activities  - Portfolio Spend Analytics  - Procurement Category Support (Market Data, Travel, etc.)  - Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)  Goal of the position:  1. Setting the direction for the Shared Services Organization, transforming as appropriate and be a trusted partner to all stakeholders  2. Engaging with executive leaders in the U.S. to ensure shared services strategies are aligned with business needs and that business needs are met   3. Maintaining a risk management mindset; keeping abreast of evolving regulatory requirements and leading initiatives to ensure proactive approaches to meeting regulations   4. Manage a team of initially 15 staff (will grow over time) and leverage matrix resources assigned to shared services initiatives   5. Could have a dual role as a Global Process Owner for particular groups of processes  6. Defining Source to Pay Process  7. Setting the direction in Industry Benchmark & Best Practices  8. Work experience in Procurement Tools. ARIBA  Job Requirements :  Education and Experience:  - Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as good market knowledge  - Ability to effectively influence at executive levels of the corporation   - Talent in negotiations and networking  - Capable of effectively communicating complex issues and proposing solutions/alternatives   - Good knowledge of sourcing process and third party management methodologies  - Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers  - Experience in collecting and analyzing data  - Experience managing projects across multiple business units including across EMEA, NA and APAC regions.   - Understanding of IT operations and procurement including vendor management   - Exceptional leadership qualities including across virtual teams.   - Very strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.   - Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail   Skills required :  1.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio), advance levels of Excel (pivot tables, formulas, excel workbook maintenance best practices)  2.Knowledge of ARIBA is Plus  3.Senior-level communication skills, presentation skills, prior experience of interacting with multiple stakeholders (Legal Entity and Geography controllers) in NA, EMEA, APAC  4.Independent decision-making capabilities, demonstrated thought leadership  5.Pride of ownership with the ability to deliver high quality results timely  6.Self-motivated, self-assured, and self-managed  7.Strong analytical and ability to analyze and summarize complex financial transactions  8.Strong attention to details   9.Problem solving skill  10.Highly organized with ability to multi-task and work under high pressure deadlines   11.Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
