The Asset Stewardship team is responsible for developing and implementing the firm's proxy voting and engagement guidelines, managing issuer engagement, and undertaking research and analysis of governance and sustainability related issues. Our approach to stewardship is designed to have an impact through thought leadership, engagement, proxy voting and client disclosure.

Responsibilities

- Assist in creating and maintaining Asset Stewardship content

- Provide technical expertise towards development of Asset Stewardship systems

- Enhance team's processes to make workflow more efficient

- Manage and ensure data quality to support the reporting responsibilities of the team

- Create and maintain the delivery of tools, dashboards, metrics and analytics, and reporting

- Work closely with team members and cross-functional teams to build dataset, technical processes and workflows to enhance stewardship efforts and prioritization

- Enable process improvements around data quality and governance

- Conduct ad-hoc research, analysis and present insights

- Support managing team communications with external stakeholders

- Assist senior team members in their day to day responsibilities

- The role can expand over the time to incorporate broader responsibilities

Requirements:

- Degree in Finance, Computer Science, Math, Engineering

- 1-3 years of experience as a data analyst, research analyst or governance analyst

- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, advanced Excel.

- Experience with database management and data visualization tools

- Appian, Tableau/data visualization tools, SQL, programming experience highly regarded

- Strong communication and writing skills

- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to execute independently and also maintain strong team orientation
