Functional Job Title : Lead - Global Reporting Centre of Excellence- AVP

Department/ Division : Global Corporate Shared Services

Basic Purpose of Job:

- The Global Reporting Centre of Excellence (COE) engages with State Street global stakeholders, providing innovative solutions to global reporting requirements. The COE is based from our India office and operates at a truly global level. Through ground-breaking technology tools, the COE team synthesize data and present results with appropriate business insight/context in writing and orally to senior management and global stakeholders.

- The CoE Lead role works with a number of State Street largest and most complex global clients and senior leadership, and acts as the primary owner of COE relationships with client leadership and State Street leadership team. It is a role which requires strong inter-personal skills, high levels of exceptional client communication and engagement, and a disruptive entrepreneurial spirit. As COE Lead, you will be responsible for fostering and developing exceptional client experience, identifying opportunities to extend our provision of services, and playing a leadership role in the team.

Responsibilities & Tasks Include:

- The Incumbent would be responsible to maintain and improve existing reporting infrastructure as part of Reporting CoE using various tools, methodologies and oversee the business performance analysis including seasonality, response patterns, and variances between expected and actual results. The role will require to handling a team & shall interact with Global Business Partners

- Using COE technology and processes, provide insight to internal and external leadership regarding the progress and quality of the process and organization performance, assist in resolution of issues, all requiring excellent communication and presentation skills

- Develop automation of processes and reports to improve quality and reduce cycle time

- Conduct Joint working sessions and review meetings engaging multiple business units to ensure prompt and accurate resolution to challenges noted

- Conduct multiple stake holder meetings and Manage Queues to ensure Service excellence

- Manage and develop professional staff including delegation of work, providing project supervision and providing counsel on business knowledge

- Understand client operations and organization to ensure that the COE service delivery model is aligned

- Act as part of the COE senior management team in setting and driving strategic discussions with key stakeholders and account scope expansion.

Job Requirements:

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's Degree (Post Graduate Preferred) or Chartered Accountant (CA)

- 10 plus years of experience (Min 5 years in a MIS & Analytics role, 2+ Years in People management roles)

Skills/ Knowledge:

- Experience in Descriptive analytics, Data Visualization and Dashboard Preparation

- Knowledge of data technologies including large relational databases, data management, business intelligence toolset (i.e. MS/Oracle SQL, Micro Strategy, Business Objects, Cognos etc.)

- Incumbent should possess technical skills in SQL & advanced MS Excel

- Business Intelligence tools like Micro Strategy, Business Objects & Cognos is preferred, but not required

- Knowledge of Algorithms and creating valid, legible code

- Visual Basic knowledge a plus

- Ability to create MS Access Applications a plus

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc- )

- Good effective communicator with strong consultation and presentation skills
