As a Network Expansion - Karnataka Lead, you will play a pivotal role in

- Strategy: Work closely with the Network Expansion leadership to create a shared vision, strategic approach & opportunities for ONDC in Karnataka amongst diverse govt. / govt, backed and private sector entities spanning B2C, B2B, SMBs, and more

- Planning: Build and maintain the Network Expansion funnel for Karnataka, help onboard new Network Participants, and expand the footprint of existing network participants while maintaining a strong pipeline of sellers for the market.

- Building & Owning Relationships: Liaise with key government bodies (state & central) in Karnataka, industry bodies/confederations, and other key stakeholders for ONDC's network expansion goals

- Outreach: Educate, and evangelize the core value propositions of ONDC's open network for a plethora of sellers/buyer ecosystems across sectors and segments

- Program/Project Management: Be a resourceful, go-getting multitasker, supporting initiatives across the ONDC organization and ensuring our Network Participants (Buyer and Seller Apps) go live on time

- Fostering Partnerships: Your expertise in stakeholder relations, coupled with a strong understanding of digital commerce ecosystems, will position you as a crucial player in advancing ONDC's mission

- Execute projects: Step into operational gaps and help ONDC teams execute and bring Network participants online.

Location - Bangalore

Ideal Candidate :

- Deeply passionate about digital commerce, tech with demonstrated experience in solving problems at scale

- Sales and Account Management experience - Super strong, client-first account management culture with govt-facing roles (preferable)

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and build relationships.

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree

- At least 8-10 years of proven experience (Relaxable for the right candidate)

- Data-first problem solver with excellent spreadsheet/data management

- Proficient in Kannada language, spoken is must and written is optional

Preferred Qualifications :

- Master in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent

- Familiarity with the Indian digital commerce landscape; particularly experience with a leading e-commerce app in Operations, Strategy, Consulting, or related experience is a plus

- High-growth operations, tech, or startup experience is strongly preferred

- Outstanding communication and organization skills

- Strong, demonstrated leadership capabilities

- Great storyteller, can communicate the ONDC vision and mission to network participants, and govt departments across both Central and States across India

- Self-motivated, works well independently, and possesses strong organization and time management skills
