Position Overview :

- As the State HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing the human resources functions within the state. Your responsibilities will include overseeing talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities :

Talent Acquisition :

- Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and lead the recruitment process.

- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent.

- Conduct interviews, select candidates, and manage the onboarding process.

Employee Relations :

Performance Management :

- Develop and implement performance appraisal processes to measure employee performance and growth.

- Provide coaching and feedback to employees and managers to enhance performance.

- Identify training and development needs and coordinate relevant programs.

HR Policy and Compliance :

- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

- Stay informed about HR trends and legal changes, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.

Employee Benefits and Compensation :

- Manage employee benefits programs and facilitate compensation reviews.

- Monitor and analyze compensation trends to ensure competitiveness in the market.

Employee Engagement and Culture :

- Foster a positive workplace culture that reflects the company's values and mission.

- Organize employee engagement initiatives, events, and activities to boost morale.

HR Reporting and Analytics :

- Maintain accurate HR records and generate regular reports for management.

- Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and improve HR processes.

Qualifications :

- MBA - HR

- Strong knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
