Position Name : State Head Sales

Location : Madhya Pradesh/West Bengal/Karnataka

Qualification : MBA - Marketing

Experience : 10 - 20 Years of experience

Purpose of the Job :

- The State Head of Sales is responsible for leading and managing the sales operations within the designated state.


- The role involves developing and executing sales strategies to achieve sales volume, premium volume, pricing, logistic, and channel management targets.


- The State Head of Sales will lead a team of sales professionals, drive customer acquisition, manage key accounts, and ensure effective distribution and channel management to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales Volume :


- Develop and implement sales plans and strategies to achieve targeted sales volume within the state.


- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales growth.


- Monitor sales performance against targets and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure achievement of sales volume goals.

Premium Volume :


- Drive sales of premium products and services to enhance revenue and profitability.


- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and influencers to promote premium offerings.


- Implement marketing and promotional activities to position premium products effectively in the market.

Price Management :


- Monitor pricing strategies and competitive pricing trends to ensure competitiveness in the market.


- Develop pricing policies and guidelines to optimize revenue and profitability.


- Negotiate pricing agreements with key customers and distributors to maximize sales opportunities.

Channel Management :


- Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, distributors, and retailers.


- Implement channel management strategies to expand market coverage and increase product availability.


- Provide support and training to channel partners to enhance their sales capabilities and performance.

Desired Candidature :

- MBA-Marketing.

- 10-20 years of progressive experience in sales, preferably in the cement or construction/ building materials industry.

- Proven track record of success in sales management, with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth.

- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve excellence.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market dynamics and develop effective sales strategies.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.

- Willingness to travel extensively within the state and occasionally nationally as required.
