Job Purpose:

The State Head - North& East will spearhead sales operations for RAK Ceramics' Bathware & Kitchen Division in the state, driving growth through strategic leadership and operational excellence. This role will focus on achieving ambitious sales targets, expanding market presence, and fostering robust distributor and retailer networks. The State Head will play a pivotal role in aligning regional sales strategies with RAK Ceramics' broader business objectives, contributing to its leadership in the building materials industry.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to maximize market share and revenue in North & East.

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.

- Align regional sales objectives with the company's vision for digital transformation and sustainability.

Channel and Trade Sales Management:

- Lead and expand distributor and retailer networks to achieve optimal market penetration and revenue generation.

- Build and nurture relationships with key trade partners, ensuring strong collaboration and loyalty.

- Monitor distributor performance, identify improvement areas, and design solutions to enhance efficiency.

Team Leadership and Development:

- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team.

- Set clear goals, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.

- Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability within the regional sales team.

Market Strategy and Execution:

- Design and execute region-specific marketing campaigns and promotional activities to boost brand awareness.

- Optimize pricing strategies to balance competitive positioning with profitability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, and R&D) to deliver superior customer experiences.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Track and evaluate sales performance through key metrics, ensuring timely achievement of targets.

- Prepare detailed sales reports and present insights and recommendations to senior management.

- Proactively address challenges, implementing corrective measures to maintain performance benchmarks.

Required Skills:

- Sales Expertise: In-depth understanding of channel and trade sales, particularly in the bathware, sanitaryware, or building materials industry.

Required Qualifications:

- MBA in Sales & Marketing from a premier institution (with 60% or above academic performance)

Required Work Experience:

- Minimum 15 years of experience in channel/trade sales, preferably within MNCs in the bathware, sanitaryware, or building materials sectors.

- Demonstrated success in building and managing distributor and retailer networks.

- Proven track record of leading regional sales teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
