State Head North East Region.
Role Overview:
- The State Head will be responsible for driving the growth and penetration of EdTech solutions within the North East region.
- This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership and business development.
- The incumbent will be responsible for building and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue targets and market penetration objectives.
Key Responsibilities.
Strategic Leadership:.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional business plan aligned with the company's overall strategy.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify growth opportunities, competitive landscape, and customer needs.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, education boards, and industry associations.
Team Management:
- Recruit, hire, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to the sales team.
- Set clear performance expectations and goals for the team.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Sales Execution:
- Directly manage and close key accounts within the region.
- Provide sales support and guidance to the sales team.
- Ensure effective sales process adherence and CRM utilization.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets consistently.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region.
- Develop and implement effective channel partner strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans.
Financial Management:
- Prepare and manage the regional sales budget.
- Monitor and control sales expenses.
- Analyze sales performance and profitability.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in sales leadership with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the EdTech industry.
- Deep understanding of the K-12 education sector and its dynamics in the North East region.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
- Ability to travel extensively within the region.
