Job description for the - State Head Collection and Recovery Manager- TW & LAP
Job Description:
As a State Recovery Collection Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the collection activities within the designated state(s). Your primary goal will be to recover outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with customers and adhering to legal and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibility:
- Lead and manage a team of recovery collection agents, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure optimal performance and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement effective collection strategies to maximize recovery rates while minimizing losses. Continuously evaluate and refine strategies based on performance metrics and market trends.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the state's recovery portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing debt collection practices. Keep abreast of changes in legislation and industry best practices.
- Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and empathy, seeking to resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Prepare and present regular reports on collection activities, including key performance indicators, trends, and outcomes, to senior management.
- Work closely with other departments, such as legal, risk management, and operations, to coordinate efforts and achieve common goals.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in debt recovery techniques, negotiation tactics, and customer.
Experience:
- Preferably from NBFC Sector.
- Past work experience in NBFC Collection and recovery , Effective team management skill, Relationship oriented.
- Good Knowledge of Banking & Operations.
- The Incumbent should have handled large team and drive Collection performance in the past.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and trends to inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding collection targets and KPIs.
- Certification in debt collection or related field (e.g., Certified Credit Executive) is a plus.
Age Experience:
- Age 25- 40 years.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Collection and recovery.
