State Head - Collection

Job Description:

Role & Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

- Formulate and implement effective collection strategies to meet and exceed collection targets.

- Regularly assess and adjust strategies to adapt to changing market conditions and collection challenges.

Team Recruitment and Training:

- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing collections team.

- Ensure ongoing training to keep the team updated on best practices, tools, and regulatory changes.

Performance Monitoring and Management:

- Monitor and review the performance of regional collections teams to ensure targets are met.

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to optimize team efficiency.

Process Adherence and Oversight:

- Ensure compliance with collection processes and protocols, including system allocations and tracking.

- Monitor and address delays in cash deposits and identify/report any fraudulent practices.

Strategy Implementation:

- Roll out and enforce collection strategies tailored to regional needs to enhance recovery of outstanding loans.

- Implement and oversee collection-related programs to address trouble spots and improve recovery rates.

Policy and Payout Management:

- Authorize payouts and establish collection payout structures.

- Develop and enforce policies related to collection payouts and agency performance.

Agency and Agent Management:

- Monitor adherence to collection processes by agencies and agents.

- Take corrective actions against non-compliant agencies or agents and discontinue partnerships based on performance metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Work closely with regional sales and credit teams to ensure high-quality sourcing of accounts.

- Collaborate to resolve any issues related to collections and improve overall performance.

Troubleshooting and Program Implementation:

- Identify and address areas of concern within the collections process.

- Implement targeted programs and initiatives to mitigate issues and enhance collection effectiveness
