State Head (Alco Bev)
Achieve sales targets in the region by increasing market share by providing Strategic Directives. To identify the potential Market/sales to expand our Market Share. To implement different strategies to attack competition. To ensure timely completion of Sales report to CMD.
Role & responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for the region, aligning it with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Conduct market research and analyse customer needs and preferences to identify new business opportunities.
- Set sales targets and objectives for the region and develop strategies to achieve them.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to the sales team to enhance their performance and productivity.
- Set performance expectations, monitor individual and team progress, and conduct regular performance reviews.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and major accounts within the region.
- Understand customer requirements, address their concerns, and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conduct regular customer visits and participate in trade shows and industry events to promote the company's products and services.
Sales and Business Development:
- Actively engage in sales activities, including lead generation, prospecting, and closing deals.
- Monitor sales trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and pricing strategies.
Qualification And Experience:
1. MBA with 6-10 years of experience in Alco Bev industries & must have a good relationship with trade/distributors & corporations.
2. Established successful sales history.
3. Must have strong leadership, motivation, and persuasive communication skills.
4. Strong business-related writing and math skills with full knowledge of distributor pricing models.
5. Ability to exercise independent judgment to handle a variety of duties.
6. Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
7. Excellent organizational skills.
8. Good product knowledge.
9. Efficient time management skills.
10. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems effectively.
11. Microsoft Office proficiency.
12. Ability and desire to travel frequently for meetings, market visits and presentations.
13. Understanding of respective state compliance and liquor laws.
