Job Description : Business Development Manager
Job Purpose/Position Summary :
- The Business Development Manager will drive the SCV (Small Commercial Vehicle) business within the state and with assigned dealerships.
- They will manage a team of Assistant Business Managers (ABMs) to achieve business targets and objectives set by the executive team.
- This role involves handling and resolving customer, employee, product, and process-related issues efficiently.
- Additionally, the manager will focus on developing a proficient field team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to dealers and customers.
Job Responsibilities :
- Supervise operations at both executive and dealer levels to ensure seamless performance.
- Ensure consistent growth and success of the business by implementing effective strategies.
- Expand market share by engaging with non-active and low-market-share dealerships and channels.
- Foster and strengthen relationships with dealer sales teams and managers.
- Maintain current market share levels and analyze opportunities for growth.
- Implement fraud vigilance measures to safeguard business interests.
- Activate non-active dealerships to enhance market penetration.
- Manage talent acquisition and development at both dealer and executive levels.
- Present company products and services clearly and persuasively.
- Conduct regular reviews of team members based on daily work management and MQW (Minimum Quarterly Work) parameters to track progress.
- Lead efforts in renewing key customer accounts to ensure retention and satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the automotive or related industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned state and region.

Working Conditions:
- This role requires frequent travel within the state and occasionally outside the region.
