Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Building relationships with key stake holders in the specific ecosystem, example Startups, ESG, etc.
- Implementing strategies of acquiring relationships for their banking needs in the region
- Ensure efficient delivery of service to the clients, in line with the promise, leading to liability accrual, providing digital solutions and generation of fee
- Co-owning liability, asset, fee, etc targets along with the relevant teams for effective delivery
- Contribute to client success by providing efficient banking solutions, advisory and enabling ecosystem
- Collaborate with internal product partners to develop and execute on a market leading proposition that is relevant and applicable to the need of diverse ecosystems
- Deeping the existing relationships of the bank under the program and introducing new such relationships to the bank
- Engaging with the branch network and improving their understanding on the ecosystem
- Leveraging the local networks of branches and building on new relationships with organizations/institutes at play in the ecosystem
- Engage with organizations, associations, institutes, etc. on the ground level, and onboarding them as alliance partners for the bank, sourcing prospects
Skills and Knowledge:
- Relationship Management
- Collaborative and Team player
- Complete understanding of FDI flow and other investments in and out of the country
- Domain knowledge in aforementioned ecosystem
- Domain knowledge of Transactions Banking/Commercial banking, Trade & Forex and Treasury
- Understanding of the banking processes and the products required by the startup ecosystem
- In-depth understanding of the ecosystem pertaining to Startups, Healthcare, Agritech, Renewable Energy, Edtech, Fintech including but not limited to accelerators, incubators, seed stage investors, VC/PEs, professional service providers, industry bodies and leading universities
Experience:
- Demonstrate strong leadership, management, and execution skills
- Ability to collaborate and negotiate across the organization
- Knowledge of the venture industry, technology sectors, business models and fundraising trends
- Familiarity with key ecosystem, including key individuals and firms - preferred
- Strong focus and ownership of the overall client experience
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- MBA/CA with technology acumen, having 5+ years of related experience
- Experience of working in a startup program in competitive banks or in startup ecosystem will be preferred
