The managed accommodation market across India's top 20 cities is expected to quadruple from its current size of USD 20 billion to about USD 80 billion by 2030. Today, Stanza Living is the leader in the space with more than 75% market share in the student housing space and over 60% in the overall organized managed accommodation industry. The industry is evolving at a rapid pace in India as key players continue to attract large amount of capital from national and international institutional investors.
Responsibilities:
Strategy at Stanza is not just about innovative ideas and solutions but going the extra mile to design, test and deploy those ideas at scale. In this unique role you have the opportunity to work on highest impact projects across Category Experience and Growth. These projects will allow you the exposure to work directly with Founders, Business leaders and regional teams. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses, generating insightful reports, and providing strategic recommendations.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.
The role demands:
- First principle approach, to dive deep into business problems and design structural solves.
- Lead Special Projects: as the THE go-to person for many key initiatives and new projects e.g. evaluating new businesses, markets and opportunities, launching new products etc.
- Assist in the formulation and execution of the company's strategic plan, working closely with the Founder and other key stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with various departments, including finance, marketing, and operations, to gather relevant data and insights for strategic initiatives.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, industry dynamics, and competitive landscapes to identify opportunities and threats.
- Utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to extract meaningful insights, support decision-making processes, and enhance overall business performance.
- Coordinate with the tech, product, marketing teams to build and launch new products, iterate to get to product-market fit, build strategic partnerships, design go-to-market strategies and establish key business opportunities
- Ensure outcomes of initiatives are durable and can sustain post absorption by functions where applicable - leverage process and documentation towards this end.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance the effectiveness of strategic planning processes.
