The market:

The managed accommodation market across India's top 20 cities is expected to quadruple from its current size of USD 20 billion to about USD 80 billion by 2030. Today, Stanza Living is the leader in the space with more than 75% market share in the student housing space and over 60% in the overall organized managed accommodation industry. The industry is evolving at a rapid pace in India as key players continue to attract large amount of capital from national and international institutional investors.

Job Summary:

To lead the conceptualizing, design and execution of the company's communication strategies, ensuring the alignment of all internal and external communications with the company's vision, mission, and goals. This role involves building and managing a team, working closely with other departments, and being the primary spokesperson for the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public relations, corporate communications, and crisis management, with a proven ability to build and maintain a positive corporate image.

Key Responsibilities:

- Strategic Communication Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that enhance the company's reputation and brand image.

- Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers. Manage media inquiries and interviews, and proactively seek opportunities for positive media coverage.

- Crisis Communication: Serve as the lead for all crisis communication efforts. Develop and implement crisis communication plans, and act as the company's spokesperson during crises.

- Internal Communications: Oversee the development and dissemination of internal communication materials to ensure consistent messaging across the organization. Foster an open and transparent communication culture within the company.

- Content Creation: Lead the creation of high-quality content, including press releases, speeches, blogs, newsletters, and social media posts that align with the company's brand voice.

- Brand Management: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all communication materials are aligned with the company's brand identity and strategic goals.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including investors, clients, and employees, to maintain positive relationships and ensure alignment with the company's objectives.

- Event Management: Oversee the planning and execution of corporate events, press conferences, and other public relations activities.

- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the corporate communications team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage the communications budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. - A Master's degree is preferred.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field, with at least 2 years in managing end to end function.

- Proven experience in crisis communication and media relations.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities.

- Experience working with senior executives and cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in using communication tools and platforms (e.g., social media, content management systems, etc.).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
