JOB DESCRIPTION -
- To supervise the day-to-day processing & customer service activities related to Trade and Cash with the primary purpose of meeting service standards
- To ensure compliance of all internal procedures, operational controls and regulatory requirements.
- To assist Head Trade Services and Cash Management to improve Client perceived Service Quality capability of the Unit
- Facilitate the creation of standard, disciplined processes and the process management controls to sustain, adapt, and continuously improve.
- Independently manage projects across multiple work streams facing off to senior stakeholders within the business
- Define and scope processes and value streams to be improved, and clearly establish process deliverables
- Use their knowledge of business and processes to resolve variances through contacting internal and external stakeholders including Banks.
- Integrate processes with technology, and support IT implementations
- Identify and develop tactical work assignments from strategic and operational business plans
- Coordinate, drive and direct effective compliance and operational risk management.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of all products and processes and be in a position to advise on control strategy going forward.
- To provide Trade services/Cash Management related Services to Customers and to meet turnaround times as per the Service Level Agreement & productivity standards
- Regular monitoring of the performance of the team & improve efficiency.
- To act in completed compliance with the Bank's data confidentiality policy at all times
- Identification and review of critical factors on a preventive basis to avoid customer concerns or client complaints that arise from factors within control/reasonable influence.
- To ensure that the regulatory changes are adequately implemented at the operational level.
- Perform root cause analysis of the Operational Risks, Errors & Omissions in the unit and built the controls to plug the mishaps.
- Identify potential areas of automation and oversee implementation
- Drive and deliver cost save and business efficiency targets
- Drive and deliver digitization and RPA initiatives
- Identify and deliver hubbing initiatives
- Staff motivation - Ensure multiskilling of workforce, Identify training needs of staff
- All round banking experience.
- Knowledge of the bank's laid down policies and procedures.
- Supervisory and communication skills.
THE ROLES RESPONSIBILITIES -
- Enhance risk management capabilities and streamline processes
- Ensure full awareness of all the policies and procedures issued in relation to money laundering prevention. Ensure compliance with these policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.
- Coordinate risk specific development projects.
- To identify and report all weakness inherent in the standard controls.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE -
- 10 to 12 years of experience in Banking Operations in relation to project management, streamlining operations, leading teams etc.
- Data analysis and Presentation Skills.
- Exposure to project management concepts, tools, techniques & methodologies
- Good problem solving skills, mature, independent, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
