Key elements and required results of the role

- Responsible for the end to end recruitment and selection for all requisitions for the assigned business groups as per the recruiting strategy and business plans

- Source, interview and identify high quality candidates for all the requisitions through various sourcing channels

- Ensure effective offer fitments and closures in partnership with the HR Business Partners and hiring managers

- Effectively follow and adhere to the standardized process flows, forms, approvals and communications for all recruitment activities

- Build a strong direct souring matrix and recruit high quality talent via various innovative and latest sourcing channels

- Facilitate effective passive and active long term talent pipelining through sourcing strategies, interactive marketing plans, and networking opportunities

- Act a strategic partner to the HR business partners and hiring managers to add value, advise and support the execution of the recruiting philosophy and hiring plans across businesses.

- Build effective relationships with business stakeholders and partners, requiring strong proactive communication, the ability to manage disagreements appropriately, and a strong service orientation.

- Work closely with business partners and managers in order to deeply understand the business, organization structure, responsibilities and key business drivers. Utilize this information to develop most effective recruiting strategies.

- Lead, implement and drive the campus recruitment philosophy of Disney India and strategically partner with identified campuses:

- To liase with panel members for pre-placement talks, and final interview process

- To freeze on the final dates for all campus related activities

- To ensure that the campus program runs smoothly

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with employment sources, such as colleges, employment agencies, search firms, alumni networks, etc.

External and Internal Stakeholders

Who is the individual accountable to, what are they accountable for-

- Accountable to Head of Staffing, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers

- Indirectly to the HR Head and Business Leaders

- Colleagues in the International Recruitment team

- Recruitment partners, candidates and other external vendors

Qualification & Experience Required

Number of years of Experience, Qualifications

- Overall 6+ years of experience working in a dynamic high performing recruiting and sourcing environment, with strong emphasis on recruiting competitive and high quality talent

- Extensive experience of recruiting for Senior Leadership and Mid- level mandates

- Experience of working on an applicant tracking tool (Kenexa, Taleo, etc.) would be preferred

Skills Required

Highlighting the key technical, language and job related skills required

- Experience of working in an innovative, challenging and dynamic work environment

- Strong negotiating, influencing and interpersonal skills

- Proven Direct Sourcing experience via various innovative channels

- Strong drive for results and a solutions oriented approach

- Demonstrated strong sense of initiative and urgency, with the ability to follow up on outstanding matters efficiently

- Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects

- Demonstrate high level of integrity and confidentiality

- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement

- Proven networking capabilities with professional organizations, business groups, alumni associations, etc.

- Efficient Computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point) and technical aptitude for other systems (e.g., SAP, Recruitment Systems, technology)

- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, including a proficiency in clear, concise, and compelling verbal and written communication in English

- Understanding of competitive compensation & benefits, employee engagement and HR Operations practices
