Staff Engineer - Automobile/Aerospace Domain

Job Description :

- SW test automation expert accountable for defining & driving automation & simulation strategy and implementing those in product SW life cycle with the objective of achieving steep cycle time reduction w.r.to SW testing. This will be a senior technical leadership role with direct accountability on strategic business outcomes.

- This role demands technical expertise, collaboration & influencing skills to work across multiple stakeholders (e.g. system, software) and other critical functions within broader HON organization, including external COTS vendor and customers to drive large automation and simulation environment for testing high end complex software products involving embedded / non embedded (C, C++ language constructs). This position reports into a Director level.

- Candidate with relevant experience in testing COTS products, Automobile/Aerospace industry, large scale industrial software industry, medical diagnostic equipment are welcome to apply

- Bachelor's / Master's degree in Engineering with 15+ years of experience in Automation in Automobile or Aerospace or similar Domain.

- At least 15+ years of experience in architecting, development and implementing of large scale end to end SW test platforms for complex Software. Candidate with experience in

- Continuous integration and continuous development infrastructures, involving cloud, VM, Dev OPS environment.

- Up to date with the modern tools and technology in SW end to end testing (including formal methods, graphic automation,

- Architecting automation around diverse (nonstandard) SDLC life cycle tools with focus on automating complex workflow (involving COTS and in-house TOOLS).

- Expert skills on building SW test platforms and simulation systems

- Sound understanding of Software BOTS

- Strong coding and scripting back ground in Python, Perl, C#, Java/Java script, SQL, and Ruby.

- Drive & Deploy applicable Automation Framework like selenium, QTP, Microsoft TFS, Junit, Ruby & Cucumber. Exposure to iOS, Android, Linux and Windows.

- Experience with automation around Domain, Process, configuration management & work flows. Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases. Working knowledge of test framework, IDEs (e.g., Microsoft VS, Eclipse)

- Architect solutions involving open source software/architecture

- Drive HW & SW Simulation framework for various real time systems and platforms. In depth knowledge of COTS simulation tools. Hands on experience on nonstandard simulations.
