This role exists to develop and execute the roadmap to transform company's supply chain systems to support the company's high paced growth and to bring in the needed functionalities needed to automate business processes with the objective of making them efficient and error free. This position will also be a key part of the team chartered with visualizing, incubating, and executing supply chain experiments to contribute towards the betterment of the company's Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes (What the Person needs to accomplish in the role ?)
- Analyse business processes, find gaps and identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with functional supply chain stakeholders and leads in defining problem statement, evaluate multiple solution approaches and lead discussions on solution
- Document functional business requirements, work with IT for designing solutions, IT testing as well as co-ordinating business testing.
- Lead and drive supply chain functional teams towards the implementation of cross-functional initiatives and supply chain system enhancements.
- Conceptualize and drive future and new-age innovation ideas for supply chain systems.
- Maintain repository of innovative ideas and improvement opportunities in the supply chain to effectively prioritize and deliver solutions to the business.
- Perform on-going research to understand best practices in the industry and guide the supply chain functional stakeholders to adopt emerging technologies.
Be a functional supply chain subject matter expert and partner to the IT organization in scoping and evaluating new tools and systems, as well as process changes.
