Staff Accountant - IT

- Minimum 3 years of experience as accountant, preferably with major accounting firm - Knowledge of SOX compliance

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel - Priority given to those with SAP S4/HANA and Sage Experience

- CPA Candidate is strongly preferred - Understanding of GAAP and other accounting principles

- Understanding of IFRS to support country specific reporting in UK

- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, partnering with the business to ensure accuracy of results and balances

- Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting including documentation and conformity with GAAP and other regulatory requirements

- Identify and record accruals for actual and pending invoice activity

- Investigate significant variances within general ledger accounts

- Provide support when needed for other daily accounting operations

- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and personally identifiable information (PII)

- Assist with requests from internal review teams and external auditors

- Identify process improvement opportunities to streamline work

- Provide accounting assistance to Finance and Accounting Manager responding quickly to financial questions to meet business needs
