Chief Financial Officer


Responsibilities:


- Proper maintenance of books of accounts as per the required norms of NBFC and RBI

- Scrutiny of books of accounts on a periodical basis

- Verification of Bank reconciliations for all the banks on a monthly basis.

- Ensuring Proper documentation for all the transactions recorded in the Books of Accounts.

- Verifying and obtaining necessary approvals from Various Departments wherever necessary

- Authorization and Authentication of all the vouchers

- Ensuring proper compliance with applicable statutes viz., TDS, TCS, GST etc at the time of posting the voucher into the books of accounts.

- Payroll processing for entire group

- Ensuring proper filing of all the records and safeguarding all the necessary documents.

- Periodical Reconciliation of inter group balances.

- Obtaining confirmations from the banks and external parties where ever necessary and

- Periodical reconciliation of balances in Debtors & Creditors accounts.

Operational Responsibilities:

- Timely Payments of all the statutory (Monthly, Quarterly or Annually) and ensuring timely filing of returns

- Calculation and payment of Advance Taxes for entire group.

- Submission of Response to notices received from Various departments viz., Income Tax, GST, VAT, Sales Tax etc.,

- Submission of required information to various authorities.

- Ensuring filing of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual returns to RBI, as directed under NBFC Returns (Reserve Bank) Directions, 2016

- Installation of XBRL as per the requirement of RBI and updating the profile on regular basis.

- Attending scrutiny and submission of information to various authorities including Appeals, Tribunals and High court.

- Filing of Appeals and writ petitions with Appellate Authorities, Tribunals, High court etc.,

- Co-ordination with Auditors and Consultants for advises and ensuring timely actions on all the cases.

- Preparation of Financial Statements as per the Applicable IFRS and Ind-As

- Enhancing the Customer satisfaction with timely Payments with no delay as per the SOP.

- Proper payment Management to the Customers and Vendors as per the designed policies and Procedures.

- Calculation of purity loss and ensure necessary steps were taken for recovery of abnormal purity loss observed in the transactions if any.

- Identifying vendors for sale of fine gold and ensuring collections in timely manner and proper fund Management within the organization.

- Estimating the gold Price fluctuations and to take necessary steps for mitigating the fine gold price fluctuations.

Strategical Responsibilities:

- Develop extensive relationship with Senior Bank Officials, NBFCs, Fund Managers, FIIs and major Investment Banks.

- Support the senior management for setting up policies, procedures and review mechanism.

- Developing Process & Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

- Preparation of financials Modules.

- Forecasting working capital effectiveness.

- Oversees and provide preventive & corrective directions on weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reporting.

- Develop strategies in tune with changing environment, update the financial process and procedure and do effective implementation of the plans and process.

- Implement appropriate internal controls and operating risk management processes and procedures within the organization for ensuring integrity of Performance and Expense reporting and compliance with related group policies/standards

- Adoption and Implementation of applicable IFRS and Ind-AS to ensure the transparency in presentation of Financial Statements to the Stake Holders and Prospective Investors.

- Adoption of Latest updates in compliances and disclosure requirements as per the RBI and other regulatory statutes.

- Preparation and Implementation of Policies for Classification of Loans (Performing & Non-Performing)

- Designing Agreements with Agents for acquisition of business as well as recovery

- Designing Policies for classification and recovery of Non-performing Loans.

- Setup and organizing the committees like Risk Assessment committee, Internal Audit committee etc., as per the requirement under MCA.

- Ensuring Transparency and disclosure Requirements in terms of

- Credit Assessments

- Disclosure of Information

- Grievance Mechanism

- Classification of performing and Non-Performing Assets

- Suggesting and Implementation of Loan Management Software with Mobile Ready Solutions for disbursement and repayment of Loans which enhances the sales and recovery options.

- LMS Reporting and Co-ordinating with Tech Team for changes if any

- Focus on Information Technology Framework, Data security and Business continuity Plan in order to confirm with the notifications and circulars issued on Information Technology Framework for NBFC by RBI for safe keeping of information and documents and serving of loans.

- Review of agreements with third party technology providers to ensure that the loan agreements facilitated on their platform will be managed in accordance with the required statutory norms.

Leadership Responsibilities:

- Build culture career and pave way for strong team bonding, collaborative mindset and a winning culture.

- Work closely with leadership team to co-lead and grow the organizational book of work and build/lead the team.

- Lead and drive organizational financial priorities and initiative on transversal focus areas like automation, knowledge management, risk and control etc.
