This candidate will be responsible for coordinating various initiatives across all Retail Services portfolios and should be able to support analysis of the key initiatives. He / She should have a strong analytical orientation (along with data manipulation experience). He / She should act as a leader to be able to represent the Mumbai Center in various compliance / control forums. The candidate should also be able to act as a mentor and help in grooming and retaining the talent.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Hiring and onboarding initiative at the Mumbai center, establishing processes to attract and retail best talent.

- Lead the initiative of talent development by establishing formal mentorship programs and Training programs to enhance functional and professional skills

- Represent the Mumbai center in various compliance and control forums in the capacity of Business unit Compliance Officer (BUCO)

- Work with the CSIL Compliance office to ensure compliance risks for their respective CoEs have been adequately identified, assessed, controlled, monitored, tested and reported to the sponsoring business

- Support Center Head to provide quarterly attestation confirming compliance to Polices covering Compliance, Control, CoB, IS, etc. and highlight any identified issues with remedial action plan in a template prepared by the CSIL Governance Team for the purpose

- Support the Center Head for Periodic Risk Assessment and preparing Corrective Action Planning (CAP) reporting

- Support Center Head to adequately identify and monitoring of the IS risks and reported to local Management and to sponsoring business. Open IS issues and remediation plans are communicated to CSIL BISO and sponsoring business.

- Should be able to lead the team in drawing out the Digital Landscape from risk management perspective. Exploring new digital tools and techniques to optimize risk strategies and be able to develop digital skill pool with-in Retail Services risk team.

- Ability to lead the team to deliver empirical evaluations on new data sources from credit bureaus/vendors. Be able to help size the incremental P&L impact of the new data sources.

- Develop and execute reengineering of existing customer service process across all RS portfolios, while incorporating strategy, objectives, and plans as they evolve.

- Responsible to create trigger functionality by using already existing bureau data or external data for loss mitigation and / or spend growth.

- Establish relationship and collaborate with internal clients and external vendors to provide ongoing reporting and communication to senior Risk Management on the progress of projects

- Constantly analyze customer information, profitability and risk dynamics of the RS portfolios to identify opportunities in credit policy revision and process re-engineering and optimization.

- Responsible for the development and maintenance of customer service risk policy to reduce customer pain points, alignment between RS portfolios where required, alignment with changing regulatory environment.

- Establish relationship and collaborate with operations team, Customer Service teams and RS portfolio policy teams to identify and resolve gaps to help enhance customer experience with in the Risk framework

Stated experience must include the following:

- Knowledge of credit policies of credit card life cycle in terms of products, acquisition channels, various ECM processes, and customer touch points, collections and Fraud.

- Familiarity with FCRA statutes, and understanding of legislative and competitive landscape as they pertain to Retail and Credit Card industry.

- Strong analytical skills in conducting sophisticate analysis using bureau/vendor data, customer performance data and marketing data to solve business problems

- Highly proficient in Excel/pivot tables and PowerPoint.

- Good programming skills in advanced SAS and SQL in mainframe, UNIX and PC environments.
