A. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Business/ Department
Objectives: The role of Sr. Vice President – Strategic Information Solutions group
Core Responsibilities:
- Relationship Management: Interact regularly with Partner leadership to set and manage expectations aligned to group capabilities and work to deepen existing relationships.
- Planning: Participate in formulate site level operating plan. Develop and communicate strategic and operational goals and plan for the team.
- Talent Management: Own resourcing strategy for the team and help leaders to balance resource allocation across the site. Invest time and effort to develop talent.
- Organizational Development: Institutionalize analytic learnings across the site. Anticipate business demands and undertake initiatives to develop site capabilities aligned to the business requirements.
- Communication: Effectively communicate strategic considerations with team, partners and senior management.
- Assist SIS Team by sharing business and technical expertise
- Assist the COE Site Leader by participating in Strategic Initiatives and Site Level Interventions
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of Managers, AVP and VPs in the delivery of their team's Information Solutions projects
- Assist SIS Team by sharing business and technical expertise
- Assist the COE Site Leader by participating in Strategic Initiatives and Site Level Interventions
- Act as a leader for the performance management process by setting clear performance expectations. Coaching and guiding the team to high levels of performance
- As a Manager of Managers, coach and mentor Managers, AVP and VPs

- 15+ years of relevant work experience with extensive knowledge of Data Management principles and Information Systems development, with particular emphasis in the use of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Architectures

- Program managing a large Data Architecture or Data Warehousing Initiative
- Working in the Role of a Technical or Data Architect in a Project
- Hands-On knowledge on the following technologies - SAS, MS SQL Server, UNIX, COGNOS, .Net and Java technologies

B. QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Preferred
Education: Master degree in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Applications / Engineering from a premier institute.
Experience:
- 15+ years of relevant work experience with extensive knowledge of Data Management principles and Information Systems development, with particular emphasis in the use of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Architectures
- Career must evidence the following experiences
- Program managing a large Data Architecture or Data Warehousing Initiative
- Working in the Role of a Technical or Data Architect in a Project
