Location - Chennai , India

We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated Sr.Technical Architect with previous experience in dealing with complex software products to lead the architecture definition of our software offerings in e-Commerce Domain.

- The Applications Architect is involved in all aspects of the project life cycle, from ideation through requirements analysis, design and implementation. The primary responsibility is realizing enterprise-level system designs and working with other architecture and development teams across geographies to retain architectural and implementation consistency. This is a hands-on position, requiring research, analysis, design, proposal, and delivery of solutions appropriate to our business and technology strategies.While this is an individual contributor position, there is expectation that the Applications Architect will play a diverse and far-reaching role in the organization, wielding influence over specifications for the design patterns, development standards, best practices, coding styles and other development guidelines.

- The successful candidate must be a hands-on, highly-innovative and far-sighted. This person will work independently, or as a team member, and have strong communication skills in interacting with business partners and the technical community. He or she must be a role model, exhibiting exemplary professional and character traits consistent with the philosophy and values of the organization.

- 12+ Yrs of related experience

- Leads the creation of large-scale architecture for a product or major product sub-system or across multiple client systems.

- Must have payments experience in Big data and in dealing with big batch and large data processing volumes along with expertise in Java.Looking for key terms such as Hadoop,Mapreduce,Data Analytics,Big Data,Zoo Keepers

- Designs and oversees solutions for specific use cases that provide frameworks, interfaces, and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements.

- Understands the broader business context around their area and develops architecture and influences implementation to support it.

- Complex architectural designs may require refinement and iteration with more senior architects.

- Develops and communicates technical processes, standards and best practices within a product team.

- Creates architecture consistent with enterprise architecture standards, guidelines and principles and works with engineering to ensure that implementations are consistent with the spirit of these principals.

- Recognized as the go-to architect for a product or major sub-system and is seen as a leader in their specialized field.

- Leads product design and code reviews; can competently review any aspect of their product or major sub-system.

- Leads and collaborates on solutions across teams within a Business Unit

- Collaborate effectively with software engineers and architects to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas and resolve technological disagreement with informed, rational debate.

- Influence development managers to insure appropriate levels of quality on owned system(s).

- Educate teams on the technical road map and help meet the strategic objectives.

- Help identify and recruit technical leaders into the organization.

- Coach, mentor, and delegate to engineers to facilitate their development.

- Help identify and recruit technical leaders into the organization.
