Sr Technical Architect

Position Description:

We are currently looking for talented and passionate Senior Technical Architects with proven, hands-on architecture, design, implementation, and technology leadership skills in building enterprise grade, secure, high availability and high scalability web based products.

Sr. Architect will be focused mainly on extending our product capabilities by focusing mainly on technical partnerships to extend the reach of the platform beyond its functional capabilities. This role will perform initial technical fit/gap analysis, come by with POCs, etc for such extensions. This role will leverage Architect to help with the cause. Sr. Architect will also do a lot of internal (customer) evangelization and external (technical forums/conferences) evangelization.

As the Technical Architect, you will:

- Design, implement and enhance our core platform. Evolve the product architecture and improve its maturity.

- Participate in the overall strategy, standardization, analysis, design, and implementation of enterprise applications.

- Lead developers and provide technical expertise and guidance for the overall design and architecture. Ensure that products are of the highest quality.

- Collaborate with product managers, business partners to share and direct architecture practices that may affect business solution delivery.

- Work with product management and field teams to nurture key customers and prospects

- Actively participate in technology forums and represent the company in industry conferences and standard bodies.

- Design patentable technology and propose and review patent applications.

Requirements:

Degree in Computer Science/equivalent with 14+ years of technology experience (Hands-on writing complex codes, algorithm, design and architecture)

- Expert in object oriented programming and design.

- Prior ownership in building complex, secure, scalable software products/applications

- Expert knowledge in Java, J2ee, Unix/ Linux, SQL and a wide range of Web 2.0 internet technologies such as
JQuery, AngularJS, OSGI, JAX-* etc.,

- Experience with open source products (Jboss, Apache, Postgres etc.,) and related tools

- Proven experience with working in fast paced, small teams

- A quick learner and creative problem solver and passion for solving tough problems
