Sr SOX Consultant

Designation: Sr. SOX Consultant

Location: Bangalore/Mumbai/Delhi

The position reports directly to Manager SOX.

Responsibilities & Key Result Areas:

- Prepare and review design documentation and tests of operational effectiveness to ensure our continued compliance with the requirements of Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002.

- Work with business unit representatives and process owners to document current internal control processes feeding the financial reporting systems.

- Identify any internal control weaknesses in those processes and recommend and implement changes to strengthen internal controls.

- Develop testing of controls.

- Maintain database/application containing all Sarbanes-Oxley supporting documentation.

- Prepare periodic reports and track program progress and status of testing

Required/Preferred Qualifications/Certifications:

- Must be a Chartered Accountant ( CA) or an MBA (Finance).

- Must possess at least 2 years of audit experience.

- A CPA/CA or Certified Internal Auditor Designation is a plus.

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, is required.

- Background in public accounting or involvement with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 assessments at a public company is a plus.
