Role Purpose

- The candidate will be primarily responsible for Searching Patent and supervising patent applications in the area of mechanical/electromechanical domain, primarily former.

The potential candidate will also have sound IP knowledge of other areas of IP services, besides patent drafting. The candidate should have ability to work under pressure and critical timelines, and make him/herself available for any urgent client requirements."

Skills & Resposibilities

What are this role’s major responsibilities/accountabilities - Strong technical skills for comprehending complex technology concepts and critical skills for evaluating technology features in the Mechanical, Industrial and allied engineering domains

- Superior writing and oral communication skills with a particular ability to translate scientific concepts into language easily understood by a non-scientific personnel

- Strong knowledge of patent law of various jurisdictions, more specifically in the US and Europe

- Self-starter, meticulous with strong analytical and problem solving skills

- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint

- Proficient in using different patent and non-patent databases
