Sr Production Manager - Pharma

Major Accountabilities

- Evaluation of manufacturing capacities at third parties along with department head to meet annual volume projections of existing and new products consistently.

- Preparation and execution of monthly and weekly despatch schedule in collaboration with third parties and ensuring availability of products from third parties meeting Class A MRP II requirements.

- Maximisation of product yields, productivity and reduction of processing lead time to reduce COGS.

- Conducting production trials successfully using raw and packaging materials from alternate vendors.

- Monitoring of GMP implementation and compliance in product manufacturing and packaging process as per Local Production Instructions.

- Evaluation of yield / material losses at various manufacturing stages. Improving of product yields / reducing material consumption by proper system or better equipment.

Education

- Postgraduate in Science (faculty of technology - pharmaceuticals and fine chemicals). M Pharma / B Pharma.

Experience

- About 7 - 12 years in the pharmaceutical industry (Production) of which at least 3 - 4 years in own formulation plant and remaining in management of 3rd party sites.

- Experience in sterile dosage form manufacturing will be an added advantage.

- Experience in handling regulatory authorities and manufacturing license procurement will be an added advantage.

Languages

- Hindi, Marathi and English fluent in speaking / writing.
