Working to the Head of ICT Operations and closely with the Mobile Tech Manager:
- To design enhancements of existing mobile services and new mobile services for the Organisation
- Work with the Head of ICT Operations, the Mobile Tech Manager, and the Creative Team and Project Teams to design:
- Enhancements of existing mobile services that meet project objectives
- New mobile services that meet project objectives
- To develop functional specifications, requirements and call flows/work flows for enhancements to existing mobile services and for new services
- To develop business models and business cases for new mobile services and for extending existing services to new territories
- Point of contact for Organisation's Creative team
- To work with staff in the creative team to design and script voice prompts organisation's IVR services.
- To ensure that mobile content (including but not limited to lessons, quizzes, voice prompts etc.) for the Organisation's, SMS, USSD and handset services is developed according to agreed technical specifications.
- To deliver content to external mobile technology solution providers and to ensure that they upload, test and deploy content to deadline
- To work with the Research & Learning team to design and delivery user-testing of mobile services
- To review TORs and RFPs for external research agencies to deliver user-testing of Organisation's mobile services, to participate in pitch presentations and to input into the selection of agencies
- To input into the design of the user-testing to ensure that it meets ICT team objectives
- To observe the user-testing and to prepare timely reports on the results of the user-testing for the ICT team
- Point of contact for mobile operator relationships related to service delivery and design
- To manage the day to day working relationships with the mobile operators for pitching new services, opening and configuring shortcodes, and for any issues related to existing services
- To manage operator billing, invoicing and payments
- Working with organisation's legal counsel in Delhi and London, to manage any changes/addendums required to existing agreements with mobile operators and to any new contracts required with mobile operators
- To work with the Mobile Tech Manager on UAT
- Work with the Mobile Tech Manager to develop and implement test cases and test plans for enhancements of existing and new mobile and call centre services
- Track expenditure across the ICT team and manage invoicing and payments
- To handle invoicing for all mobile based services and to ensure timely payment by the Finance Team
- To track expenditure of all ICT team expenditure and to make forecasts on a monthly basis
