Job Description:
Objective:
- Responsible for implementing and managing marketing plans for products assigned. Assist the Head-Therapy to forecast and controls sales corresponding to the assigned product and manage promotional expenditure.
Job Profile:
- Planning: Support the Head-Therapy in the development of Iong-term brand measures and product-portfolio management for the assigned therapeutic areas to improve market and prescription shares
- Execution: Devise and detail tactical (medium to short term) measures for brand and product-portfolio management for the Division; identify key issues requiring tactical measures, identify tactical measures for managing the portfolio and develop promotional mix for new and existing products/ brands to maintain the defined sales/expense ratio
- Product Promotion: Develop education and service programmes associated with the assigned product range. Evaluate and review promotional programmes
- Customer Relationship: Develop and manage key opinion leader programs together with Medical and Sales. Maintain regular face to face customer contact through field force accompanied days and key customer base
- Develop sales promotions and communicate and train these promotions to sales management and/or the field force for each promotional cycle. Assist Head-Therapy to prepare Cycle sales briefs for assigned products
- Maintain an appropriate knowledge base of the assigned product range and disease groups/markets within which these products compete
- Liaise with external agencies to assist with development and implementation of marketing activities
Skill sets: diabetes market knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of disease states, therapeutic areas, and products
- Drives sales in assigned accounts/with assigned physician targets
- Cultivates relationships with KOLs; build lasting relationships with priority doctors - Assesses needs of target physicians; Addresses needs with responsive approach, targeted skills, and appropriate resources
- Develops superior selling, technical and relationship building skills
- About 1 - 2 years sales experience in the Field will be an asset.
