Sr Product Head - eCommerce

High Places International (www.highplacesintl.com) - a Global Executive Search firm specializing in leadership hiring across the globe. We have been retained by an leading internet conglomerate to talent hunt a Senior Product head to be based in Chennai.

The product head will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in architecture, design, development, test, and deployment of a range of e-commerce products.

Designation : Product Head

Location: Chennai

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for

- The over-all systems development life cycle of a key product in the E-Commerce platform

- Management and execution against project plans and delivery commitments

- Management of departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing and maintaining a best-of-class engineering team

- Work closely with the engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach

- Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management

- Develop the long-term strategy for the platform and translate that into an achievable road map/action plan

Basic Qualifications

- Should have 12+ years of experience in the product development.

- 5+ years of experience in Architect, Designing and implementing on the E-Commerce space.

- Preferrably from the computer science background (BE / B Tech)

- Proficiency in, at least, one programming language such as C, C++, C#, Java, or PERL
