Position - Senior Manager- FP&A

Job Location - Bangalore

Education - CA/MBA

The Senior Manager- FP&A is a newly created and highly visible position with responsibility to provide strong financial guidance and support. Reporting to the CFO, the executive will head the FPA function (Financial Planning and Analysis) to support the fast growing business requirements globally. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded performer who thrives in a fast paced and demanding environment, embraces a collaborative work style and possesses a clear customer and operations focus with a passion for business support. Must have significant prior FPA experience in the IT industry, with demonstrated success in helping to drive business growth and profitability.

The responsibilities of this position include

- Partner with the sales team, delivery and sr. management , providing insightful analyses of revenue, costs, utilization, margins etc to help drive business activities toward achieving financial goals

- Develop Business Unit reports to define and track key operational/financial metrics and perform budget vs. actual P&L analysis

- Perform financial analyses to support major initiatives and investment decisions

- Prepare monthly management reports emphasizing operational/financial performance metrics, historical results, budgets, forecasts, and trends

- Perform actual to budget/forecast variance analyses while highlighting risks/opportunities

- Provide financial leadership in the development of annual plans and forecasts

- Provide financial support for RFP’s and pricing models

- Provide support for sales incentives and commission calculations

- Deliver thorough and insightful presentations to an audience of key executives to analyze and forecast the health of our Marketing Technology business.

- Ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as needed

The Person:

Should bring the following qualifications and experience:

Must Have skills

- 10 years experience in the IT industry

- 3+ years experience managing and developing staff

- Financial systems experience: advanced Excel, ERP

- Highly motivated and self-directed; exhibits thought leadership and strong critical thinking skills

- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

- Excellent communication and influencing skills; ability to articulate with confidence to senior management

- The ideal candidate would be a CA/MBA

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Understanding of IT business

- Ability to work collaboratively with peers to create a results driven, team oriented environment.
