Sr Mgr - AMS Solution Architect - Presales

Role: AMS Solution Arch - BD Support

Level: Senior Manager / Principal

Location: Hyderabad / 2nd Pref: Chennai, Pune

Deal size: 20 - 50 million USD

- Define/understand client expectations

- Building solutions

- Some delivery exp

- Pre-sales: qualifying RFP, making propositions

- Domain capability: Banking, Insurance, Capital markets

- Leverage practices

- Mix of pre-sales, support, content writing (response to the client)

- Hands-on exp

- Ability to think on alternate proposals

- Min RFP’s: 3-4 per month

Experience:

1) 15+ years of IT Application Support and Development experience

2) Prior experience in presales/solution creation

3) Should have anchored large AMS deals directly as bid manager (20Mn - 50Mn USD+)

4) Any exposure to Business Development is preferred

5) Strong background in ITIL, Service Level Management

6) Broad understanding in technology

7) Good understanding of Financial Services domain

8) Good presentation / negotiation skills

9) Excellent written and oral skills

Primary Skills (must have) :

1) Combination of Delivery, presales, solutioning and consulting experience is required.

2) Has to travel (Local & International)

Responsibilities include:

1) AMS Solution Architecture

2) Architecting AMS (Application Managed Services) solutions for IT Outsourcing deals and designing the service delivery framework based on customer requirements

3) Effort estimations

4) RFI/P Authoring

5) Responsible for authoring the responses for RFIs and RFPs

6) Delivering the response as per the bid plan

7) Work with many virtual teams and develop quality responses
