Senior Marketing Sourcing Manager

General Purpose

As a Senior Marketing Sourcing Manager working with the Sales and Marketing team to deliver locally relevant sourcing/ commercial solutions that support the Sales and Marketing strategy. Including sourcing of suppliers, reviewing commercial agreements, contract management and managing supplier relationships.

- Needs to have thorough knowledge of the sourcing process and procurement experience & Agency appointment/ management experience.

- Added advantage would be the knowledge of Marketing or retail experience including creative, media and digital.

Main Responsibility Area & Key Contributions:

- Must be self-aware, be a strong collaborator and have strong leadership skills and be a good communicator both written and oral. Must have good interpersonal skills, able to motivate others, possess empathy, accountability, curiosity, creativity and business acumen.

- This is an Individual contributor role and the person must be able to develop strategic vision and purpose, set priorities, develop KPI’s and be able to drive for results.

- Is able to operate autonomously in own subject area. Can analyze, develop and implement concepts and commercial solutions as a subject matter expert within the marketing and sales categories.

- Awareness and involvement outside of own subject area including understanding changes within sourcing and procurement and innovative marketing and retail concepts that occur. Must have analytical, negotiation, influencing, persuasion skills

- Is able to see big picture as well as understand and effect change to detail and communicate effectively . Makes decisions about and prioritizes own work.

- Must have experience managing the commercial relationships of marketing and retail agencies and have thorough understanding of how agencies construct their ratecards and contractual arrangements.
Carries out specialized activities/projects according to general direction.Influences others to support decisions.Works independently with little supervision. Analysis of situation or data requires review of relevant factors. Solutions can often be checked and proved. Medium collegial or consultant interaction.

Qualifications

- Qualified Degree Graduate with 12+ years of experience. Should have been in a Global sourcing role involving interface with multiple senior stakeholders, Marketing, Procurement, E-tools & Vendor Negotiation.
