We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to drive demand across a variety of digital opportunities.
You will coordinate with the US headquarters team and other country marketing teams to ensure a unified and consistent world-class experience for Indian customers.
You will monitor and react to both customer and publisher/developer feedback relative to our products and services.
As the Senior Marketing Manager - Digital Products and Services, your key responsibilities will include:
- Create a comprehensive marketing plan and associated policies for building awareness of and driving traffic to our online and mobile stores for digital goods and services
- Recruit and manage a team of site merchandisers to implement the marketing plan
- Execute the marketing plan using mobile advertising, free and paid search, email marketing, affiliate marketing, social networking, banner advertisements, site-placements on Amazon.com and other relevant marketing vehicles
- Own site merchandising for our stores and work with both internal and external design and editorial resources to ensure our on-site placements and product information meet Amazon’s high quality bar
- Shape fundamental design elements of our stores and ensure that the right voice and high-quality bar are maintained throughout
Basic Qualifications
- Several years of marketing management experience
- Demonstrated track record of working successfully with and influence teams across organizations and countries
- Must have bias for action, and experience making things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities
- Proven ability to recruit, manage, develop, and retain a high-performing team in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills are required
- Fluency in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong familiarity with the mobile and digital content domain spaces
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills; bias towards data-based decision making, and comfort with pro-forma financial and operational analysis
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills; demonstrated success building buy-in for an innovative and bold strategic vision
- Tenacity and sense of urgency; the ability make things happen quickly with less nimble partners
