Sr. Marketing Manager, Mobile BD

Mobile eCommerce is one of the fastest growing segments and the e-commerce giant is well-positioned to take its world-class customer experience and deliver it on mobile devices. We're looking for an experienced marketing professional to promote usage of its mobile experiences via existing partnerships, as well as new channels. This position is focused on our India operations and the mobile Shopping experience. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to create and launch effective marketing programs, activate distribution partnerships, thrive in a fast-paced environment and support aggressive timelines.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Senior Marketing Manager for the Mobile Business Development team in India, your key responsibilities will include the following:

- Establish, implement and measure the effectiveness of Mobile program initiatives to drive awareness and adoption for our Mobile products and services with channel partners. Leverage internal marketing vehicles as well as external partner marketing channels.

- Activate existing and new partnerships with Operators and OEMs to drive promotion, trial and usage of our mobile applications.

- Support multiple product and application launches and enhancements with channel partners in India, regularly analyzing and optimising campaigns.

- Establish and optimise a variety of mobile advertising partnerships to drive greater adoption of mobile application products and services with channel partners.

- Champion fundamental customer experience elements of our Mobile products and services to ensure that the right voice and high-quality content are maintained.

- Demonstrate ability to work at the strategic level (generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing advertising campaign execution, creating campaigns with site merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data and solving problems).

- Collaborate closely with Mobile technical and business teams within as well as external vendors to manage simultaneous time-sensitive projects.

- Coordinate with other Mobile marketing professionals to leverage relationships, establish best practices for marketing and advertising and collaborate on a unified Amazon vision in the mobile space.

Basic Qualifications

- 4+ years of demonstrable relevant work experience in online marketing, product marketing and/or marketing communications.

- Proven track-record of delivering online traffic growth from multiple sources including channel marketing, direct, SEO, sponsored links, banner ads, affiliates, and email.

- Superior verbal and written communications skills with extreme attention-to-detail.

- Demonstrated ability to create innovative new marketing programs and/or partnerships that generate results.

- Comfort rolling up sleeves to perform quantitative analysis and reach sound conclusions. High level of aptitude with Excel (pivot tables) required, and with SQL (basic queries) desired.

- Strong time-management skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

- Composed, poised and professional demeanor.

- Tenacity and sense of urgency; the ability to make things happen quickly with large, less nimble partners and/or teams.

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

- 4+ years of experience in mobile eCommerce, mobile marketing or product management for wireless products/services strongly preferred.

- Experience working with Indian OEMs or mobile operators

- Expertise in product launch marketing strategies in the online and/or mobile market.

- Familiarity with HTML, XML, Photoshop and general office software.

- MBA from a top university
