Sr Manager - Underwriting - Retail Lines - GIC

To Evaluate the proposal & quote appropriate price, terms and conditions for risk.

To Deliver quality underwriting decisions with stringent adherence to TATs.

To Strike a balance between sales request, client requirement, Market trends and Underwriting Guidelines.

To co-ordinate & meeting with agent/sales/bank partners to ensure support in development of overall business of the Company.

To release of Renewal notice within agreed timeline and co-ordination with the respective departments.

To Conduct Risk Inspection with risk engineer (applicable to specific lines)/ market visits for client /brokers/agent.

To design and deliver training programmes to internal and external customers on products, customer segments and markets.

To discuss with sales on requirement of pre-underwritten calculators and improvements & suggest to Central UWG team (applicable to specific roles).

To Keep an eye on the ever-changing regulatory / legal environment & norms and risk assessments.

To Co-ordinate with central team for Underwriting Audits.
