Sr Manager - Services - Network & Security

Role Summary:

- As Sr Manager Services Network & Security, the individual will own the Service portfolio roadmap, service development, capability building and technical pre-sales support for all service lines in the portfolio.

Key role expectations are:

- Establish standardized solutions for Assess, Design, Build, Deploy and Migrate that include comprehensive Delivery toolkits, Solution Accelerators and Factory Models - Offshore 24x7 execution models

- Develop standardized Transformation Toolkits consisting of Future Roadmap, Point of View/ Though leadership, Maturity Models, Reference Architecture, Technology Evaluation Criteria/ Comparison framework

- Conceptualize and build Business Justification Templates that help map Business Requirements to IT Solution recommendations and provide ROI/ TCO analysis

- Evangelize the solutions through presentations, webinars, thought leadership blogs and whitepapers

- Support sales in acquiring new customers and winning deals for the service portfolio supported

Key Responsibility Areas:

Service Development:

- Budgeting the service development for the service lines owned

- Service capability development

- Service solutioning framework

- Standardization of Delivery process, documentation, work instruments / tools

- Thought leadership creation

Delivery Core Team Enablement/ Ramp up:

- Ownership and Delivery of reference projects

- Establish Delivery readiness

- Training planning and execution / ramp up

- Service delivery maturity measurement & optimization

Presale Solutions Support:

- Solutions support for proactive pitches

- Solutioning support for Bids

Desired Skills and Experience: (Relevant experience the person must have)

- Proven track record with a minimum of 10 years in IT infrastructure consulting/ solutioning with strong architectural background in network, security and aligned automation toolsets.

- Needs to have been involved in complete service life cycle ranging from service creation, service delivery and pre sales activities

- Needs to have done significant client facing role in their career to have the right perspective of client needs

- Experience is developing technical solutions, reference architectures and Proven track record in managing and executing complex projects.

Job-related Skills:

Technical Skills:

- Architecture and design of LAN/WLAN, WAN, Perimeter Security, and Borderless network

- Architecture and design of Application Delivery & WAN Optimization Solutions

- Strong knowledge of traffic analyzer tools, QoS, IPSEC, SSL VPN, routing protocols, routers, switches, firewalls, proxies, wan optimizers, load balancers, bandwidth shapers, PKI, IDS/IPS

- Design and Implement security standards in alignment with industry best practices

- Broad knowledge of Telecom Industry & Telecom solutions

- Strong experience in Network and Security Architecture Assessment and optimization

- Ability to clearly form and communicate ideas for wide audiences, both internal and external client / stakeholders. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral are required.

Experience & Educational Qualification:

- BE, BTech, or Equivalent in any discipline of Engineering with 10 years of relevant experience

Tests, Certification: (Specific tests that must be applied to candidates; prior certification that they may need)

- Vendor certifications in Virtualization, Systems, Storage, Networking

- CCIE Preferred

- Desirable certifications in TOGAF, PMP, ITIL
