Sr Manager - Revenue Controller - IT

Position : Senior Manager

Location : Hyderabad

Experience : 7-10 Years From IT Services Companies Only

Education : CA/ MBA

Responsibilities :

- Providing leadership over our invoicing, revenue recognition and collection teams

- Overseeing a staff of 20

- Managing the monthly revenue/billing close cycle within prescribed timelines, including analysing for potential leakage and bridging the gap vs. forecast;

- Ensuring compliance with Revenue Recognition Requirements under US GAAP;

- Driving Oracle ERP system enhancements/automations in the invoicing, fixed price project tracking, reporting and collection areas.

- Identifying process re-engineering opportunities to reduce cycle time, drive efficiencies, improve quality, maximize productivity, and improve customer satisfaction ratings;

- Managing Sarbanes Oxley requirements/compliance, as well as strengthening internal controls over the revenue and billing areas through rationalization of policies and procedures, as well as automation;

- Reporting on key performance metrics for the invoicing and collections areas, to measure revenue/billing team performance and 1st time quality, as well as performance of other internal stakeholders impacting the timeliness of invoicing;

- Driving best practice in the collections area, including DSO improvement.
