Qualification: B.E/Diploma (Plastics/Mechanical/ production)

Experience: 10 – 13 years

Industry: Plastics Pipes & Fittings Manufacturing

Essential skills: Thorough knowledge in TPM / ISO company

Job purpose:

- Must handle overall manufacturing (production, Maintenance – Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation, QC & Design)

Note : Candidate should be from Pipes industry or plastic pipes industry

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

1. Overseeing the production process (Planning/Forecasting), drawing up a production schedule.

2. Ensure planned KPI’s of efficiency and performance are met or exceeded.

3. Ensuring that the production is cost effective.

4. Ensure implementation and evolution of safety procedure.

5. Develop and execute the yearly manufacturing plan (AOP) to deliver the business objectives (production volume, manufacturing controlled cost, quality, safety … ).

6. Develop Initiates, implements, and manages the plant maintenance program based on best practices in the industry, with an emphasis on planning/scheduling and preventive/predictive maintenance.

7. Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.

8. Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.

9. Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality.

10. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety(EHS) policies, systems and processes.

11. Ensure complete compliance to prescribed TPM,QMS, GMP’s and 5S processes.

12. Manage the manufacturing operation consistent with the company operating guidelines.

13. Establish individual accountability using coaching and support and performance management process.

14. Institutionalize manufacturing Best Practice Tools and Processes.

15. Ensure compliance with environmental policies, systems and processes.

16. Ensure effective management of performance in the department to meet business needs.

KPI’s:

1. Manufacturing cost.

2. Product quality as measured by no. of complaints.

3. % Delivery on manufacturing plan .

4. Throughput time.

5. Productivity / Efficiency.

6. QMS (Quality Management Systems) Document.
