We have an urgent opening for the role of Sr. Manager Operations - BFS Finance & Accounting with a leading IT MNC based out of Bangalore.
Location: Bangalore
Shift timing: US Night Shifts
Reporting To: Vice President
Main Accountabilities:
- Accountable for a deal/contract’s function
- To ensure availability of resources within the team and effective management of the team
- To monitor & evaluate the performance of the team in all areas
- To ensure that results are in accordance with agreed metrics and the operating plan
- Define the standards and reusable approaches within a broad operational framework. Initiates and designs-in business process excellence improvements.
- To participate in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short-and long-range planning; develops and implements projects and programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.
- Accountable for ongoing maintenance of effective client service relationship in area of business and all towers as well, by acting as first point of contact for client representatives.
- Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
- To assist the team members in resolving problems.
- To cooperate with the other Supervisors , Team Leaders and Service Management team to improve the procedure with the aim to deliver the higher quality service
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage any future transitions from the Clients
- Manage relationships with Finance and business leaders in the different Client business units across the globe – Operate as a trusted advisor to the business.
- Overall responsibility to budgeting and financials management of the deal
- Play an integral role in continuous improvement of reporting processes
- Developing relationships with the business and ensuring your span adds maximum value
- Responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of service levels. This includes responsibility for the delivery various Reports – internal + to clients.
- Responsible for resource management and on-going grooming of the resources in the span
- Demonstrate strong Customer Service ethic in the team through active communication, regular updates & meetings.
Qualification criteria:
- CA/ICWA or Post Graduate or MBA (Finance) with strong domain knowledge.
- 12- 15 of experience in a reputed company.
- Should have experience in leading large multifunctional teams in the Capital Market/IB/ financial services domain
- Exposure/knowledge of retail brokerage operations is preferred.
- Global experience desirable
- Should have worked in a process driven environment
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Senior leadership interaction skills
