Senior Manager Legal and Compliance

ROLE PURPOSE

Legal Advisory & Business Partnering

ESSENCE OF ROLE- Key Accountabilities

1. Impact on the Business

- Driving the Vodafone Group Compliance within Vodafone India business (e.g. Whistleblowing, Anti-bribery, Code of Conduct)

- Maintain an exhaustive compliance checklist as per Indian legal requirements

- Legal & Regulatory Reporting to Board based on the monthly report received from functional and business heads

- Periodic compliance monitoring of various functions/business lines

- Mystery shopping and compliance surveillances.

- Compliance Training and awareness to VISPL employees

2. Customers, Suppliers and Third Parties

- Have cordial relationship with internal and external customers

3. Leadership and Teamwork

- Good leadership quality to lead the team in a positive manner and to achieve common goals and adhere to the Vodafone values – Speed Simplicity Trust

4. Innovation and Change

- Keep self and team posted of the constant changes happening and come up with innovative ways of functioning.

5. Knowledge and experience

- In-depth knowledge of regulatory law and legal aspects including compliance management
- 06-10 years

6. Communication

- Excellent communication skills

Education

- A Graduation

Required Experience

(Technical/ Functional)

- A Degree In Law

- Additional Company Secretarial qualification would be an advantage

- Premier Institution
