Sr Manager - IT Audit - BFSI

Location : Bangalore

- Should have 12 to 16 yrs of experience in IT AUDITS. Effectively conduct and manage all aspects of an audit project including evaluating risks, employing sound audit practices and leveraging data mining to deliver high-impact audit results

- Develop an in-depth understanding of the technology used in the various and apply this understanding when providing effective IT audit support

- Works with middle to senior management, facilitating the identification and resolution of risk and control issues

- Has an in-depth understanding of the businesses’ strategy and interrelationships among and applies this understanding when identifying potential issues

- Manage the work of project-specific teams (including multi-discipline teams working on cross-enterprise matters) and provides supervision and direction

- Perform independent IT general control audits covering access management, information security, disaster recovery and back-up or process audits

- Implement and execute the risk assessment framework. Identify changes in internal and external environments that will impact the risk profile

- Provide input to the development of the integrated audit plan

- Evaluate risks, controls, policies, and procedures on how management monitors, communicates and mitigates risk

- Formulate effective strategies to manage and mitigate risk taking into account the impact on other business units

- Establish audit scope, objectives and develop audit work programs that focus on high risk areas impacting businesses and/or enterprise

- Identify control enhancement / improvement opportunities. Escalate significant audit issues identified and proposed manner of resolution. Follow up on identified issues and recommend corrective actions to ensure problem resolution

- Draft complete audit reports that provide a clear description of issues identified, related implications to the business or enterprise as a whole and recommendations to resolve the issues

- Plan and conduct effective meetings with audit personnel, clients, and other third parties

- Employ and leverage current and emerging audit tools and techniques

- Provide senior management with a concise overview of the status of controls and business model
