Sr Manager - Internal Audit - KYC/AML - Bank

About Our Client

Our client is a MNC Bank with operations across Retail, Corporate and Investment Banking. With their offshore setup growing year on year a requirement has arisen for an Internal Audit professional to join their setup in Delhi NCR.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director - Internal Audit, your key responsibilities would include:

- Assess inherent and residual compliance risks, evaluate control designs, develop and execute audit tests

- Key regulatory requirements include Anti-Money Laundering, corruption, privacy, and a variety of consumer protection regulations

- Ensure effective and efficient execution of audits in conformance with professional and department standards, budgets, and timelines across multiple business areas and for different team leaders

- Support business monitoring and validation activities

- Participate in and lead audit meetings with regulators and with key leaders in compliance, technology and operational risk.

- Assist with validation of key milestones surrounding compliance and regulatory gaps

- This includes assessment of documentation quality and sufficiency, evaluation of management’s internal validation procedures, consideration of inter-dependencies, and responsiveness to findings issued by internal audit or regulatory comments.

- Identify and assess the impact of control deficiencies Present audit findings to management through status updates and closing meetings

The Successful Applicant

- You must be a CA/MBA with 7+ years of post qualification experience within Internal Audit in a Bank or a Financial Services setup

- Strong audit experience across diverse banking operations with excellent exposure in KYC & AML

- You will have excellent communication; coupled the ability to use this to train the team, pitch to external and internal stake-holders and comment on crucial audit findings
