Sr. Manager IHP Product Development:

Primary Duties and responsibilities:

- Lead and manage IHP Product Development teams in Karad and Pune.

- Leadership, motivating, analytical, commitment.

- Lead development of new IHP Products required for India & MEA.

- Design to meet specifications.

- Manage NPD (New product development) according to company phase gate process to meet specifications (performance, reliability, cost, DFM, DFS, DFQ etc).

- Conduct design reviews (peer, external, management) as needed.

- Interact with internal and external management.

- Interpret/negotiate requirements to develop product specifications.

- Update and report status of product development and make appropriate adjustments to change in requirements.

- Customization, cost reduction, operational issues after product release.

Experience: 15-20 years

Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech or M.Tech-Mechanical Engineering

Desired Background/Experience

- Min 15 years of proven IHP (Integrated Horse Power) compressor development and engineering experience.

- Thorough knowledge of compressors used in Air conditioning and Refrigeration.

- Proven expertise in using and managing world class engineering design tools (Pro E/ Nx/ Ansys/ CFD/ NVH etc).

- Min 5 years of proven experience in project management & program management.

- Min 5 years of proven experience in managing teams of engineering experts.

- Good exposure to compressor manufacturing and newer mass manufacturing methods.

- Good exposure to compressor component manufacturing and testing.

- Expert communication skills (written & verbal) at all levels of organisation (management, commercial, engineering).

- Proven and current knowledge of HVACR players, markets and business conditions.

- Candidate should be willing to relocate to KARAD.
