Job Title: Sr. Manager/GM - Legal

Experience: 12 to 20 years

Job Location: Gurgaon

Job Profile & Expected Key Outcomes:

- Provide legal expertise, advise and direction to the region/ division and ensure implementation of corporate mandate by effective partnering with relevant stakeholders

- As a part of the global leadership team for legal, works closely with the legal head, to provide a global outlook/ perspective on key legal matters

- Participate in the definition and development of corporate policies, procedures and programs

- Provides insights in complex business transactions and in negotiating crucial contracts

- Review, negotiate & finalize commercial agreements to allow for continued operation of business

- Support for business development due diligence, and transactional support for licensing contracts

- Works directly with the IP team to manage IPR Administration on Trademarks, Copyrights / agreements

- Actively works with the business and research departments on activities pertaining to FTF planning and execution

- Manages litigations on major contract disputes, matters related to regulatory, governmental investigations and labor laws, petitions

- Provide legal support to departments/ functions

- Oversee and manage outside counsel with respect to on global litigation (IP and non-IP litigations)

- Manage legal spend and provide oversight of law firms & professional technical experts.

- Ensure a clear understanding of different regulatory & statutory requirements in each region/ division and guarantee compliance to them
